I've been speaking with Eakranthi Y, a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer currently working at Mphasis, where she's been building on a solid five years of experience in the DevOps space. She came across as highly composed and articulate throughout our conversation, with a clear grasp of both the strategic and hands-on sides of her role. The impression she left me with is of someone who genuinely understands enterprise-scale delivery challenges, not just the tooling around them.

Her most compelling piece of experience to date has been leading the modernisation of enterprise application delivery for DBS Bank, working across both Azure and AWS environments at Mphasis. She walked me through the scope of that engagement and it's genuinely substantial, involving the kind of cross-cloud complexity that many engineers at this level haven't had to navigate. The fact that it was for a major banking client adds a layer of rigour and governance awareness that I think will translate well into other regulated or high-stakes environments.

From a technical standpoint, Eakranthi's core stack centres on Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker and Azure more broadly. She describes herself as comfortable owning infrastructure-as-code end to end and has hands-on experience managing containerised workloads at scale. Day to day she operates independently, taking ownership of pipeline architecture and deployment strategy rather than waiting for direction, which is exactly what you'd expect from someone operating at senior level. Her background also includes work within media and streaming platform contexts, so she's seen how DevOps practices need to flex across very different domain requirements.

Eakranthi is exploring new opportunities because she's looking for a role where she can continue to work at the cutting edge of cloud-native delivery, ideally with greater scope to shape engineering culture and tooling decisions. She's based in Luton and is open to hybrid working or a fully UK-remote arrangement, which gives a good degree of flexibility.
