This is the one thing still needed to switch on the set-up fee payment in onboarding. When a landlord signs their agreement, the system takes the fee on the same page and opens the gate to full onboarding. To wire that up, we need one key from your Stripe account. It takes about five minutes, and this walks you through every click.
Go to dashboard.stripe.com and log in with the Properties 4 All Seasons account. If there is no account yet, click Sign up and create one in the business name, then come back here.
To take real payments, Stripe needs the business details and a bank account added (this is Stripe's own one-time check, not ours). If you see a banner asking you to "activate" or "complete your account", follow it through first.
Not ready to activate yet? No problem, we can wire and test it with a test key first, and switch to live when the account is activated. Just tell us which you are sending.
In the top search bar type API keys and open it, or use the menu.
Developers → API keys (direct link: dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys)
You will see two keys. We need the Secret key (not the Publishable one). Click Reveal next to it and copy the whole value. It starts with sk_live_ for live payments, or sk_test_ in test mode.
Get the key to Max by a secure route, not a plain email. Easiest options:
Read it out on a quick call · or send it in a password manager / secure note · or send it on WhatsApp and delete the message once he confirms he has it.

Once we have the key, we set up the payment confirmation (the "webhook") together in a two-minute step, so a paid fee automatically opens the onboarding gate. Then:
The set-up fee shows on the signing page · the landlord signs and pays in one go · onboarding unlocks automatically · the receipt and status are recorded. Nothing goes live for real money until you have activated Stripe and confirmed you are happy.
